Testimonials

a few comments from satisfied customers...
  • "Paula, the order arrived and I am just stunned at the beauty of your work. I can hardly wait to use them. I have so many new ideas circulating in my head on ways of using these. I am positive that no one has seen anything like this. It was just like Christmas taking each one out of the box. Thank you so very much and I can guarantee that I will be back time and time again to visit your site and purchase more of your awesome work."

  • "Dear Paula, I'm so pleased with the cards and the poinsettia magnet you made for me. Your work is exquisite! Every time people visit me, they see my magnet and remark on it. I can't say enough about the quality of your work."

  • "The frames [a custom order: hydrangea&hibiscus on blue, delphinium&rose on green, grapevine on lavendar] arrived today in perfect condition. Paula, they are truly stunning, you have really outdone yourself on these. I love the fact that the frames are large also, it is a really wonderful canvas for your work...[snip]
... I have really looked over the internet at other quilling artists and I have to say, your work is so far above everyone else's work, you are really several cuts above. You have a customer for life.....if you didn't already know that. : ) Thanks for your beautiful work on these."

  • "I recently purchased the rose flower basket card from Gem State. I was amazed by the delicacy and intricate beauty of the quilling. The flowers are so real-looking they simply jump off the page. This will make a wonderful Mother's Day card for my mom! Thanks for the care in packaging and the exquisite work!"

  • "Dear Paula, I just received the custom "Rose Trellis" garden journal you created for me. It is just more beautiful then I can say. It is just heavenly to look at and I cannot wait to start using it. You will be hearing from me many more times in the future with orders for more of your beautiful work. This is truly one of the most special birthday gifts I have ever received. Thank you for creating it for me."

  • "The table cards that Paula designed and made for our son and his bride's wedding are wonderful. I know that they will make the day even more special. I have never been treated with such personal attention. Thank you so very much!"

  • "Hello Paula. A couple of months ago I ordered the Rose Motif incire card. It arrived in a timely manner. Actually I was surprised how quickly it arrived. The card was packaged very securely and arrived in perfect condition. I can't describe how beautiful the card is. The design, roses and little pearls, is just elegant. I sent it to my nephew and niece as a wedding card. My niece loved it. The cards you buy in the store pale in comparison with this card. I will be ordering more cards in the future. Happy holidays. "

    Quilling Trivia:

Quilling was an art form developed to create a secondary use for a highly precious commodity...paper. Just how valuable was paper during that time? Many early copies of books were inscribed with the owners name inside the front cover, not just to indicate ownership, but because the books were often used as collateral for loans. Send me an email,
and if your tip is used,
I will credit it to your name!!

    Quilling Tips:

When mounting whole designs as opposed to individual coils, use a small flat plate or lid covered with a THIN film of glue. Using bent-tipped tweezers, place your finished piece on the plate to coat the bottom paper edges, carefully lift off, and position on your card or scrapbook. It's especially useful for tendrils and vines or other small embellishments. But this technique would be difficult without the tweezers! -GSQ
